Review: Call of the Wild by Jack London

As far as classics go, this is one of the more entertaining. It has a faster plot line and an interesting one.

Overview:
The story centers around a dog named Buck who is taken from his home in the South and is forced to become a sled dog during the Klondike Gold Strike. Now he must learn to live in the Northern climates and find his place in this new territory.

Jack London has written many other stories and books based on the northern lands, ( White Fang, To Build a Fire). It is an entrancing story and will keep your attention throughout the book. Don't just ignore it because it's a classic! It's a lot better than most of the junk coming out nowadays. O_O

Rating - Good

Review: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

I absolutely love this book! It has action, adventure, twists, and even a little romance!

A basic overview: In a land known as Panem, a girl named Katniss Everdeen is selected to participate in the seventy fourth Hunger Games in orer to save her sister. The Hunger Games are a fight to the death between twenty - four competetors. Now Katniss has to fight for her life against the elements, her other competetors, and maybe even love?

The plotline is well thought out and is a great read for all ages. The series contains three books: The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay. If you loved Harry Potter, you'll love the Hunger Games!
